2. Description of Service

Iris provides an AI-powered code review tool as a Chrome extension. The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Iris and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Iris, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Disclaimers

  • Iris does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • Iris does not warrant that the results obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.
  • You understand that Iris uses third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Service.
  • You expressly understand and agree that Iris shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the service.
  • Any code suggestions or modifications provided by Iris are for reference only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and implementing any changes to your codebase.

8. MVP Status and Security Considerations

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Iris is currently in a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage. As such, the service may be incomplete, contain bugs, or undergo rapid changes.
  • While we strive to implement reasonable security measures, Iris is not designed for handling highly sensitive or confidential information. Use of the service for such purposes is at your own risk.
  • The security of the service has not been independently verified or audited. We make no guarantees about its ability to protect against all security threats or vulnerabilities.
  • As an MVP, the service may lack certain features, optimizations, or safeguards that might be present in a more mature product.
  • We may collect usage data and feedback to improve the service. By using Iris, you consent to such data collection and analysis.
  • The service may undergo significant changes, including changes to functionality, pricing, or terms of service, as we continue to develop and refine the product.
  • We strongly recommend against using Iris for mission-critical systems or in production environments without thorough testing and understanding of its current limitations.
